We assessed men’s and women’s emotional psychophysiological responding to sexual stimuli. Female and male same-sex and opposite sex visual stimuli were presented to men and women. Blood pressure, heart rate, skin conductance, valence and arousal and viewing times were assessed. In men, the psychophysiological measures consistently highlighted the preferred sexual stimuli. Women subjectively showed a preference for female-male stimuli, whereas autonomic measures were consistently non-specific.
