1333 C. papaya proteins were confidently identified 1,257 could be quantified using a label-free approach. 111 proteins were differentially accumulated in PMeV-infected C. papaya, 57 increased- and 54 decreased in abundance. Photosynthetic proteins increased and cell-wall remodeling proteins decreased in abundance in infected plants.
