Both CG or FEXI methods are sensitive to transcytolemmal water exchange rate constant kin. The CG method provide accurate estimation of kin with high SNR and kin < 10 s−1. The FEXI method overestimates kin but agrees with the CG method experimentally. The FEXI method might have greater clinical potential compared with the CG method.
