True calcium digestibility of limestone and oyster shell was determined in broilers using the direct method. True ileal calcium digestibility of these two calcium sources was similar. Increased particle size increased the calcium digestibility of both sources. Calcium concentration of gizzard contents was related with ileal calcium digestibility and retention.
