Effects of PODE on gasoline PPC were investigated from low to high loads. PODE with high CN and oxygen content results in low PRR and soot at high load. Similar combustion controllability compared to diesel can be obtained with PODE20. Combustion stability and efficiency can be greatly improved with PODE at low load.
