The use of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) in supply chains (SCs) is discussed. A critical taxonomy of extant research for utilizing AGVs in SCs is offered. Direct ramifications of AGV systems on SC sustainability are examined. A hierarchical decision-making framework for AGVs in sustainable SCs is provided. The Sustainable Supply Chain Cube tool for promoting SC sustainability is proposed.
