A ADIFDTD is used to simulate the Azimuthal resistivity tools' responses in complex borehole condition.

A LC-FDTD is used to avoid stair-like discretization errors of the formation interface and tool eccentricity.

The effects of eccentering offset and azimuth on ARLWD tools are investigated.

The depth of investigation of ARLWD tools is studied which are of great importance in the design of azimuthal resistivity tools
