Stakeholder workshops were used to develop research agendas for Indian mahseer. Knowledge gaps constraining mahseer research and conservation are multi-disciplinary. Participants identified similar knowledge gaps, but prioritized research goals differently. Research priorities identify opportunity for multi-scale governance strategies.
