Low-amperage pulsating direct current has a bactericidal effect on marine fish pathogens in circulating seawater

文摘
Low-amperage PC inactivated marine fish pathogens in circulating seawater. The bactericidal effect was directly correlated with ACS level and treatment time. The ACS level generated by low-amperage PC was safe for humans and marine animals. A very low ACS level (<0.1 mg/L) was sufficient for complete disinfection. Pulsation of electric current and ORP did not contribute to bactericidal effect.
