Mesoporous LaNiO3 perovskite was synthesized by modified nanocasting method. The enhanced surface area contributed to higher dispersity and smaller Ni particles. More active sites afforded superior catalytic activity and stability. Mesoporous perovskite showed outstanding resistance to coking and sintering.
