The ionic strength effects on the protonation of some flavonoids in non-aqueous solutions of NaClO4 have been analyzed.
The mixture of ethanol-water (1:1 v/v) was used for dissolve flovonoids studied.
Data were processed using the program STAR for calculation of the protonation constants.
The dependence on ionic strength of the constants was modeled by means of the Specific Ion Interaction Theory (SIT).
The thermodynamic functions ΔG0 for the protonation processes were calculated at different ionic strengths.
