The study highlights the diabetic complications that affect foot plantar pressure. New dynamic measures for assessment of plantar pressure during gait are presented. Some measures were more sensitive in distinguishing retinopathy and peripheral neuropathy complications. The findings suggest unique pathophysiology associated with complications of diabetes.
