One-pot synthesis of boron and nitrogen co-doped carbon dots as the fluorescence probe for dopamine based on the redox reaction between Cr(VI) and dopamine
We first introduce the single starting material to fabricate nitrogen and boron containing co-doped carbon dots. The carbon dots are synthesized through one-pot method without further modification. It’s the first time to develop a sensor to detect dopamine through redox reaction between dopamine and Cr(VI).
