The sprinkler discharge efficiency was monitored over a full growing season. A strip collection method was used instead of catch cans. Wind drift and evaporation losses are very dynamic and might experience abrupt changes. A statistical model was proposed to estimate sprinkler discharge efficiency. It is possible to adjust the speed of moving irrigation machines based on climatic variables.
