High-speed camera was used to shoot plasma during laser drilling process. Boundary dimension of plasma and shock wave velocity were calculated. The results of simulation provided the shock wave velocity during laser drilling. It's found that plasma shock wave had obvious influence on laser drilling. The simulation is useful to the optimization of laser drilling in the future.
