Ghost chilli and slice ginger were dried in a solar tunnel dryer. Energy and exergy analyses of drying of Ghost chilli and ginger were performed. Drying system overall efficiencies were 4.05% (ghost chilli) and 8.50% (ginger). The exegetic efficiency increased with advancing in drying time. The exergy efficiency was high in the latter part of each day drying operation.
