The Bay of Seine is an area with an accumulation of human activities. Habitat mapping is an essential tool for managing coastal ecosystems. There is a balance between natural heritage conservation and economic development. Expert judgement is indispensable to represent the mosaic of habitats. Maps of benthic habitats of the Bay of Seine use different typologies.
