Spatially restricting fishing to areas makes fishers vulnerable to changes. Design addressed: anthroposphere (land-use), biosphere (fisher strategies), and hydrosphere (eutrophication). Incorporated remote sensing (Landsat/SeaWifs), biological data, and behavioral networks. Fisher harvesting patterns differ according to upland land use. Fisher harvesting strategies are vulnerable to land use change, such as plantations.
