For the first time, tropospheric CO2 is analyzed by using satellite-sensed data over Pakistan and adjoining regions. Significant spatiotemporal variabilities of CO2 are found and discussed. EDGAR data show high anthropogenic CO2 emissions in Pakistan. Trajectory analysis is used to track CO2 at regional level.
