Greenspace configuration has significant effect on the mitigation of LST both inside and outside greenspaces. Greenspace cooling effect was influenced by its relative location to mountains. Factors lowering greenspace temperature were not necessarily to have explicit cooling effect on its surrounding. Greenspace size and shape tended to have weak and partial cooling effect on greenspace surroundings. Increasing greenery at greenspace surroundings and enhancing its coherence are more effective cooling measures.
