We estimate GHG savings from reducing food waste in UK households. A multi-regional analysis is used to consider the global food supply chain. The impact of the rebound effect is included. Results show that the rebound effect could partially undermine GHG savings. Most GHG savings occur offshores, in particular in developing countries.
