The effect of temperature change and nonlinear oscillation behavior on the sensitivity of a CNT-based mass sensor is examined. The finite element method is used to analyze the nonlinear oscillation behavior of CNT resonators with thermal effects. The effects of attached mass, temperature change, electrostatic force, and CNT length on the resonance behavior are investigated. Temperature change of the CNT-based mass sensor can be utilized to enhance the detection sensitivity.
