Efficient light trapping and interface engineering for performance enhancement in PTB7-Th: PC70BM organic solar cells

Simultaneously address the issue of inefficient light absorption and inefficient charge collection. Simulation studies confirm increase in the optical path length of the incident light due to geometrical light trapping. J-V and EQE measurements illustrate an increase in Jsc and FF. Increase in PCE by ∼37% is observed after interface modification and textured PDMS films. Surface morphological studies of the polymer blend films were characterized by AFM.
