First model for the supercomplex of cytochrome b6f and photosystem I (PSI) The PSI-LHCII supercomplex can bind an additional LHCII trimer at two positions on LHCI. Electron microscopy indicates that in total up to 6 copies of PS I can bind to one NDH complex. Supercomplexes of PS I and NDH or the cytochrome b6f complex may improve regulation of electron transport.
