A highly specific recombinant biosensor for the detection of cadmium has been developed. Reaction volume has been miniaturized to 200 μl with a response time of 10 min. Six independent experiment run simultaneously on microarray technology. Validation of the developed biosensor response towards cadmium with FAAS. Successfully applied to the real and spiked milk sample.
