Solution viscosity with a high shear-rate contributes to the foam stability. Increasing solution elasticity and interfacial viscoelasticity or reducing surface tension enhances the liquid films. Xanthan enhanced foam presents a dense and uniform microstructure. Thick and multi-layered liquid films increase the foam stability.
