Functioning analysis and parameter settings of automatic excitation controllers for synchronous machines are presented. The recommendations are given for the choice of channel parameters of voltage control with visualization of objective functions for quality control. Recommendations are given for the calculation of channel parameters for stabilization with visualization of objective function of quality control. Variants of graphical representation of damping quality for transient processes of frequency and voltage amplitude are demonstrated.
