Effects of expanded graphite with and without CB on the properties of butyl rubber. Incorporation of expanded graphite (EG) improves gas barrier properties of matrix. EG filled butyl rubber composites show improved dynamic-mechanical properties. EG filled rubber vulcanizates show improved electrical and thermal conductivity.
