Enhanced electrical conductivity of doped CeO2 under millimeter-wave irradiation heating

Electrical conductivity of doped CeO2 was measured under conventional heating and millimeter-wave irradiation heating. Conductivity improved under millimeter-wave irradiation heating of all samples. Activation energy was low under millimeter-wave irradiation heating. Millimeter-wave effect was large on cation-vacancy dissociation energy. Influence of millimeter-wave effect on conduction process was explained.
