A low-cost portable analyzer is developed for rapid and sensitive POC detection of specific protein. The system is demonstrated to detect specific antibody in serum samples, with confirmation by ELISA. The system costs around $100 dollars in material and $1 per test, with a size and weight comparable to that of a smart phone. The system performance in detecting specific protein is comparable to that by a benchtop impedance analyzer. The developed system will be highly useful in combating infectious diseases.
