Effect of Co-substitution on the properties of superlattice hydrogen storage alloys was studied.

The incorporation of Co promotes the superlattice phase formation in the alloys.

The increase of Co content in the alloy leads to the increase of the electrochemical capacity.

The high-rate performance is also enhanced as a result of the Co-substitution.
