The Ni-MG-BDD electrode is fabricated by thermal catalytic etching BDD with Ni. Ni particles catalyze sp3-bonded diamond into sp2-bonded microcrystalline graphite. The complex electrode shows a wide detection range (2 μM–25.5 mM) for glucose. The complex electrode shows excellent performance in the glucose detection.
