N/S-CM were gained from the novel PIL ([Phne][HSO4]). The [Phne][HSO4] was concurrently used as carbon, nitrogen and sulfur sources. The high specific capacitance of 430 F g−1 was derived for PC-7. The ullage of only about 10% for initial capacitance was found after 5000 cycles.
