Our modified approach depicts EKRT as an electrochemically-assisted soil flushing. Innovations increase effectiveness but with a potentially high water consumption. An advanced water management is needed to allow implementation of the technology. Coupling with reliable systems for wastewater recovery can avoid waste of water. Proposed arrangement keeps down costs and ecological footprint, maximizing benefits.
