CO2 photoconversion by H2 was performed at up to 0.80 MPa. Pd/TiO2 was the most active at P(H2) = 0.28 MPa and P(CO2) = 0.12 MPa. The Pd surface was active for photoreduction but hindered by H adsorption. Protons formed by holes produced methane if combined with CO2 and electrons on Pd. O vacancy sites were formed only at the interface between Pd and TiO2.
