The present work supplies a comparison of numerical computations of an electronic board to experimental measurements. The study focuses on modelling the coupled interaction of thermomagnetic phenomena for low-profile high-power inductors. Realistic models of the devices were built in order to create Compact Thermal Models (CTM) inspired by the DELPHI method. A reduced model of the board assembly is investigated to enable fast computation time while preserving a high accuracy.
