We present a new multi-nozzle electrospray emitter with integrated extraction electrode. Compared with existing multi-nozzle devices the electrospray process is supported by a nitrogen flow. Together with an integrated microfluidic system and the design of the electrode this leads to a compact system adapted to the specific needs of mass spectrometers which are on-line combined with a liquid chromatography system (LC-MS analysis).
