Personality and boredom proneness in the prediction of creativity and curiosity

Studied contribution of HEXACO and boredom proneness to creativity and curiosity. Openness to Experience was the strongest HEXACO predictor of creativity. Openness to Experience was a significant predictor of every curiosity measure. Controlling for HEXACO, boredom proneness positively predicted two curiosity scales. Results suggest that interventions for boredom proneness should leverage curiosity.
