Making activities integrated with elementary school science curriculum are presented. Positive affect instances are mostly related to experimentation and ordering others. Negative affect instances are mostly related to giving instruction and wanting involvement. Potential learning was most likely through instructing others and gaining embodied knowledge. Potential distractions were most likely from the environment and excitement about artifacts.
