A novel oxyapatite-based Ba3La6(SiO4)6:Eu2+ has been synthesized. Ba3La6(SiO4)6:Eu2+ emits a green light and has a broad asymmetric emission band. Two different Eu2+ emission centers are confirmed by PL spectra and decay lifetimes. The pc-LED yields an admirable CCT of 4818 K and CRI of 82.9.
