Pipelle sampling failure rates were identified in a large healthcare system. Clinically important risk factors were identified for Pipelle sampling failure. Postmenopausal bleeding as a biopsy indication is the key risk factor. Prior history of biopsy failure is risk factor for Pipelle sampling failure. Further research is warranted to improve Pipelle efficiency in high risk patients.
