Ambient noise studies are particularly effective in high impedance contrast environments. The FSP data have a consistent pattern with the local geologic maps. The depth to bedrock and the FSP are correlated in Boston. Boston FSP/Vs30 correlation is comparable with studies in high impedance regions.
