Waste from apple juice production has been multivalorised towards value added products: materials and chemicals. Waste has been converted into value added substances maximizing conversions, with low temperatures and non-toxic solvents. The materials and chemicals obtained are competitive and environmentally sound compared with commercial ones. Further research is being carried out to give wider versatility for sequential multivalorization. This is the first report of apple waste derived materials for hard and soft tissue engineering applications.
