Enhancement of microwaves absorption properties of CuFe2O4 magnetic nanoparticles embedded in MgO matrix

MgO-CuFe2O4 nanocomposites with different weight percentage concentrations of MgO were synthesized. TEM analysis demonstrated that magnetic CuFe2O4 nanoparticles are embeded in MgO matrix. Pristine CuFe2O4 nanoparticles exhibited superparamagnetic behavior with Ms value of 30.78 emu/gm which is decreased with MgO content. The addition of MgO content lead to enhancement in the EM absorbing capability of CuFe2O4 nanoparticles.
