A pipe-embedded building system with an air source heat pump is proposed. Low-temperature water is produced to reduce the heat dissipation through envelope. The dynamic performance of the system in a heating period is investigated. The system is satisfactory in the selected six typical Chinese cities. Pipes can provide greater load reductions on the north sides in colder regions.
