The trends of environmental indicator reporting are analysed in the forest industry. Seven trends emerge from 15 years of environmental reporting. The analysed companies use more than 2000 environmental performance indicators. The mass of indicator reporting consists of input and output indicators. The trend in the amount of indicators is decreasing.
