We derived general expressions for the effects of Late Heavy Bombardment (LHB) impacts on planetary surface.

Using two lunar traces we investigated the dependencies on the impactors’ size–frequency distribution.

LHB could not cover the planetary surface by direct excavate/melt.

But, subsequent melts increases the coverage, so that missing of Hadean rocks could marginally be explained.
