The effect of supplementation of Resveratrol (0.5, 1 or 2 mM) or EGCG (25, 50 or 100 μM) to thawing boar semen extender was assessed. The addition of different doses of Resveratrol or EGCG did not induce any effect on boar sperm viability and acrosome integrity. All EGCG concentrations increased IVF penetration rate while only Resveratrol 2 mM induced a significant increase of this parameter.
