Macrotubes were the least suitable container in terms of lipid peroxidation in E. marginatus thawed sperm. The supplementation with taurine improved the cryopreservation protocol for E. marginatus sperm. Caspase 3/7 assay allowed us to establish some significant differences among cryopreservation additives.
