Pyrrolidonium based ionic liquids having bisulfate anion were synthesized. Several empirical equations employed to understand the nature of ionic liquids. Walden plot confirmed that studied ionic liquids are “subionic” in nature. Apparent molar properties studied for the mixtures of ionic liquid with water/DMSO.
